After I made low-carb bread, I was wondering how else I could use it. I realized that there were hundreds of recipes that required bread crumbs that I could not create! Here's a big tip about low-carb crabcakes: use REAL crab! Imitation crab is full of carbs (about 12 g per serving)! I went to Trader Joe's and bought canned crab (zero carbs) and it worked wonderfully. So here's the recipe:
Ingredients: 8.5 oz crabmeat (drained with the bits of shell picked out if necessary) 1/4 breadcrumbs of low-carb bread 7 tsp mayonnaise 2 tsp mustard 1 egg 1 tsp salt Combine all the ingredients. Shape into small flat portions. Pan fry (about 4-5 minutes per side). That's all it takes!!
