HeatI've tried making mozzarella stick dozens of times and failed horribly. I could never fully coat the cheese with the typically dip in egg then dip in bread crumbs mixture. For this recipe, I combined them into a batter, which worked WAY better!
Ingredients: 10-12 sticks of string cheese, frozen (I use Galbani brand) 1 cup ground pork rinds (make sure they are very finely ground, otherwise, the batter ends up being lumpy) 1 egg 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 tsp salt or seasoning of choice Oil for frying Heat the oil in a saucepan. Combine all the ingredients except for the cheese to form a batter. Dip each frozen stick of cheese in the batter and immediately put in the oil. Allow to fry until it turns crispy and browned. Drain on a drying rack covered in paper towels. Use your favorite dipping sauce (if you want to. I love these plain. CHEEEEEEESE!!)
